Carpet Stretching & Repair in Hollywood

Hollywood was founded in the 1920s, and some of Broward's oldest homes are in Hollywood Lakes and around Downtown Hollywood and Young Circle. Add the golf-course homes of Emerald Hills, the established streets of Hollywood Hills and the condos along the Broadwalk, and you get a city with carpet installed in every decade since.

Homes and carpet in Hollywood

Older Hollywood homes often have carpet laid over original terrazzo or wood floors. That calls for a careful hand, because how the tack strip was fastened in an older house affects how we can restretch and repair. Beachside condos along the Broadwalk get sand and salt air near every sliding door.

We work throughout Hollywood, including Hollywood Lakes, Emerald Hills, Downtown Hollywood near Young Circle, Hollywood Hills and the Broadwalk area.

Carpet repair services in Hollywood

• Carpet Stretching in Hollywood

In Hollywood's older homes, aging tack strip and worn padding often let carpet loosen, so we check both before stretching.

• Carpet Patching in Hollywood

In Hollywood homes near the beach, carpet near sliding doors sees sun and sand, so a patch may look slightly different until it wears in.

• Carpet Burn Repair in Hollywood

In Hollywood condos, iron burns in the bedroom are the most common burn we repair.

• Pet Damage Carpet Repair in Hollywood

Hollywood rental owners often need pet damage repaired between tenants. A patch and restretch usually does it.

• Carpet Seam Repair in Hollywood

Seams in older Hollywood carpet often open because the carpet around them has loosened, so we usually restretch first.

• Stair Carpet Repair in Hollywood

Sand tracked in from the beach acts like sandpaper on Hollywood stair treads.

• Carpet Transition Repair in Hollywood

In Hollywood condos, carpet usually meets tile or marble at the bedroom doorway, and that edge wears quickly.

• Water Damaged Carpet Repair in Hollywood

For Hollywood rentals, re-installing carpet after a leak is often faster than replacing it between tenants.

Repair it, don't replace it

Most carpet problems, like ripples, holes, burns, open seams and frayed doorways, affect a small part of the floor. Repairing that part is almost always more economical than replacing the whole room.

Local tip: If your Hollywood home has terrazzo under the carpet, tell us when you book. We'll plan the repair around protecting the floor underneath.
