Carpet Stretching & Repair in Lake Park

Lake Park was founded in the 1920s as Kelsey City, an early planned and zoned town laid out by the Olmsted Brothers, and took its current name in 1939. Today it's a small town of older homes and apartments, a downtown along Park Avenue, and the Lake Park Harbor Marina on the Intracoastal.

Homes and carpet in Lake Park

Many Lake Park homes are older single-family houses and small apartment buildings, often with carpet in bedrooms over original floors. Rentals are common, and tack strip in an older house may need replacing before carpet will hold a stretch.

We work throughout Lake Park, including the historic blocks of the original Kelsey City plan, the neighborhoods near the Lake Park Harbor Marina and the streets around Park Avenue.

Carpet repair services in Lake Park

• Carpet Stretching in Lake Park

In Lake Park's older homes, aging tack strip and worn padding often let carpet loosen, so we check both before stretching.

• Carpet Patching in Lake Park

For Lake Park rental turnovers, patching a few damaged spots is often much cheaper than replacing the room.

• Carpet Burn Repair in Lake Park

Pets knocking over candles is a surprisingly common cause of carpet burns in Lake Park homes.

• Pet Damage Carpet Repair in Lake Park

In Lake Park homes near the water, wet paws coming in from the beach or pool add moisture to pet-damaged areas.

• Carpet Seam Repair in Lake Park

Seams in older Lake Park carpet often open because the carpet around them has loosened, so we usually restretch first.

• Stair Carpet Repair in Lake Park

For Lake Park rental properties, safe stairs matter for tenants. Loose treads should be fixed right away.

• Carpet Transition Repair in Lake Park

Pets love to dig at doorway edges in Lake Park homes, and that frays transitions fast.

• Water Damaged Carpet Repair in Lake Park

Storms and rising water near the coast mean Lake Park homes sometimes need carpet re-installed after flooding.

Repair it, don't replace it

Most carpet problems, like ripples, holes, burns, open seams and frayed doorways, affect a small part of the floor. Repairing that part is almost always more economical than replacing the whole room.

Local tip: Landlords can save money by repairing worn but solid carpet between tenants. Book the repair before new tenants move furniture in.
