Carpet Stretching & Repair in Tequesta

Tequesta is the northernmost municipality in Palm Beach County, a village incorporated in 1957 along the forks of the Loxahatchee River. It's a quiet community of single-family homes and condos along the Loxahatchee River and the Intracoastal.

Homes and carpet in Tequesta

Many Tequesta homes are 1960s through 1980s houses on or near the water, with carpet in bedrooms and family rooms. Riverfront humidity and wet feet from boating take a toll on carpet near the back doors.

We work throughout Tequesta, including the riverfront homes along the Loxahatchee River, the neighborhoods off Tequesta Drive and the condos near the Intracoastal.

Carpet repair services in Tequesta

• Carpet Stretching in Tequesta

In Tequesta's older homes, aging tack strip and worn padding often let carpet loosen, so we check both before stretching.

• Carpet Patching in Tequesta

In Tequesta homes near the beach, carpet near sliding doors sees sun and sand, so a patch may look slightly different until it wears in.

• Carpet Burn Repair in Tequesta

Holiday candles are a common cause of burns we repair in Tequesta homes after the season.

• Pet Damage Carpet Repair in Tequesta

In Tequesta condos, cats clawing at bedroom carpet corners is one of the most common repairs.

• Carpet Seam Repair in Tequesta

Seams in older Tequesta carpet often open because the carpet around them has loosened, so we usually restretch first.

• Stair Carpet Repair in Tequesta

Sand tracked in from the beach acts like sandpaper on Tequesta stair treads.

• Carpet Transition Repair in Tequesta

If you're remodeling your Tequesta home over the off-season, schedule the carpet edges after the new floors go in.

• Water Damaged Carpet Repair in Tequesta

In Tequesta condos, a leak from the unit above or an AC overflow is the most common reason carpet needs re-installing.

Repair it, don't replace it

Carpet that's still in good shape overall deserves a repair, not a dumpster. Stretching, patching and re-seaming give you more years out of the carpet you already paid for.

Local tip: In a riverfront home, run the AC or a dehumidifier steadily in carpeted rooms. Lower humidity helps a fresh restretch stay tight longer.
