Carpet Seam Repair in Wellington
An open seam starts as a thin line and ends up as a frayed gap. We repair split and separating carpet seams for Wellington homeowners in the communities along Forest Hill Boulevard, Palm Beach Polo and across the city, and restretch the carpet when that's what caused the seam to fail.

Signs your Wellington carpet needs carpet seam repair
Wherever two pieces of carpet meet, there's a seam. In hallways, doorways and large rooms those seams carry a lot of foot traffic, and a seam that wasn't bonded well at install, or that has carpet pulling on it, will start to separate.
Pets love to pick at an open seam in Wellington homes, which makes the gap grow fast. Fix it early. Big rooms in larger Wellington homes often have long seams, and we re-seam them so they lie flat. Large upstairs rooms in Wellington homes often need more than one piece of carpet, and those seams take a lot of traffic.
How we do it
Our re-seaming option is part of most restretch jobs, and it can also be done on its own. We open the failing seam, clean it up, rebond it and press it flat so the joint disappears into the carpet again.
Wellington homes and carpet
Wellington, incorporated as a village in 1995, is best known as a world center for equestrian sport. The Winter Equestrian Festival and the polo season bring riders from around the world, and the village includes horse farms in the Equestrian Preserve, Palm Beach Polo, family neighborhoods like Olympia, and the Mall at Wellington Green.
Wellington homes range from horse-farm estates to two-story family houses in HOA communities, with carpet in bedrooms, media rooms and on stairs. Barn grit, dogs and seasonal owners all add up to carpet that needs regular repair.
Local tip: During the winter show season, many Wellington homes are rented by riders and their teams. Schedule carpet repairs before the season starts or right after it ends.

Common questions
Do I need stretching too?
Sometimes. If the carpet around the seam is loose, we stretch it first so the new seam holds.
Can you fix a seam in a doorway?
Yes. Doorway seams and carpet-to-floor transitions are both repairs we handle.
