Carpet Seam Repair in West Palm Beach
An open seam starts as a thin line and ends up as a frayed gap. We repair split and separating carpet seams for West Palm Beach homeowners in Northwood, Prospect Park and across the city, and restretch the carpet when that's what caused the seam to fail.
Call or text us at (954) 504-9629, or pick a time online, and tell us you're in West Palm Beach.
Signs your West Palm Beach carpet needs carpet seam repair
Seams are often the weakest point in a carpet installation. When the bond fails, the edges start to curl and fray, and pile fibers can pull out along the joint, which makes the seam look worse every week.
Seam repair usually takes one visit, which fits most West Palm Beach community contractor rules. In West Palm Beach condos, seams often run through bedroom doorways or down hallways, right where traffic is heaviest. Seams in older West Palm Beach carpet often open because the carpet around them has loosened, so we usually restretch first.
How we do it
We may need to stretch your carpet before repairing a seam, because loose carpet will just pull a new seam apart again. Once the carpet is tight, we re-seam the joint so it lies flat. All of our work is backed by our 100% unconditional labor guarantee.
West Palm Beach homes and carpet
West Palm Beach is the county seat and largest city in Palm Beach County, and its oldest, incorporated in 1894. Downtown along Clematis Street and Rosemary Square has a growing skyline of condo towers, while historic neighborhoods like El Cid, Flamingo Park, Grandview Heights and Northwood have homes from the 1920s on.
In the downtown towers, carpet is usually in bedrooms over concrete next to tile or wood-look floors. In the historic neighborhoods, carpet often covers original Dade County pine or oak, and older tack strip may need replacing before a stretch will hold.
Local tip: Downtown West Palm Beach buildings almost always need a certificate of insurance and a reserved service elevator. Send us your building's requirements when you book.
