Carpet Seam Repair in Highland Beach
An open seam starts as a thin line and ends up as a frayed gap. We repair split and separating carpet seams for Highland Beach homeowners in the Intracoastal-side condos, the single-family homes on the waterway and across the city, and restretch the carpet when that's what caused the seam to fail.

Signs your Highland Beach carpet needs carpet seam repair
Furniture rolling over a seam, a pet working at a loose edge and the steady pull of carpet that's lost its stretch all add up to a seam that separates. Fixing it early keeps the edges from fraying past the point of an easy repair.
In Highland Beach condos, seams often run through bedroom doorways or down hallways, right where traffic is heaviest. Humidity near the water in Highland Beach can make loose carpet shift, which puts stress on seams. Seasonal Highland Beach homes can come back with seams pulled apart when the carpet relaxed in a humid, closed-up house.
How we do it
A good seam repair should be hard to find afterward. We clean up the frayed edges, rebond the joint and make sure the carpet around it is tight enough that it won't pull apart again.
Highland Beach homes and carpet
Highland Beach is a narrow town on the barrier island between Delray Beach and Boca Raton, incorporated in 1949. A1A runs its full length, lined with oceanfront condominium buildings on one side and Intracoastal-front condos and homes on the other.
Most Highland Beach homes are condo units with carpet in bedrooms over concrete, next to tile or marble. Many owners are seasonal, and units closed up for months are one of the most common places we find rippled carpet.
Local tip: Most Highland Beach buildings require a certificate of insurance and a reserved elevator. Tell us your building's requirements when you book and we'll send the paperwork ahead.

Common questions
Do I need stretching too?
Sometimes. If the carpet around the seam is loose, we stretch it first so the new seam holds.
Can you fix a seam in a doorway?
Yes. Doorway seams and carpet-to-floor transitions are both repairs we handle.
