Carpet Seam Repair in Boca Raton
An open seam starts as a thin line and ends up as a frayed gap. We repair split and separating carpet seams for Boca Raton homeowners in the neighborhoods near Florida Atlantic University, the condos along A1A and across the city, and restretch the carpet when that's what caused the seam to fail.
Call or text us at (954) 504-9629, or pick a time online, and tell us you're in Boca Raton.
Signs your Boca Raton carpet needs carpet seam repair
Wherever two pieces of carpet meet, there's a seam. In hallways, doorways and large rooms those seams carry a lot of foot traffic, and a seam that wasn't bonded well at install, or that has carpet pulling on it, will start to separate.
Humidity near the water in Boca Raton can make loose carpet shift, which puts stress on seams. In Boca Raton condos, seams often run through bedroom doorways or down hallways, right where traffic is heaviest. Seasonal Boca Raton homes can come back with seams pulled apart when the carpet relaxed in a humid, closed-up house.
How we do it
Our re-seaming option is part of most restretch jobs, and it can also be done on its own. We open the failing seam, clean it up, rebond it and press it flat so the joint disappears into the carpet again.
Boca Raton homes and carpet
Boca Raton is the southernmost city in Palm Beach County and its second-largest. Addison Mizner's 1920s Mediterranean Revival style still shapes the city, from the Boca Raton resort to Mizner Park, and the main campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Town Center at Boca Raton mall anchor its west side.
Boca Raton has every kind of home, from oceanfront condos on A1A to golf and country club communities and older ranch houses in neighborhoods like Boca Square. Carpet usually covers bedrooms, stairs and media rooms, and many owners spend part of the year elsewhere.
Local tip: Most Boca Raton country club communities and condo buildings have gate lists and contractor hours. Add us to the gate list and tell us your building's rules when you book, so we can get straight to work.

Common questions
Do I need stretching too?
Sometimes. If the carpet around the seam is loose, we stretch it first so the new seam holds.
Can you fix a seam in a doorway?
Yes. Doorway seams and carpet-to-floor transitions are both repairs we handle.
