Carpet Stretching & Re-Stretching in Jupiter
From Abacoa to Admirals Cove, we get calls from Jupiter homeowners whose carpet has started to ripple, bubble or buckle. The good news is that loose carpet almost never needs replacing. A proper power stretch makes it lie flat and tight again.

Signs your Jupiter carpet needs carpet stretching
Most people notice the problem when the vacuum starts catching on a hump or a door begins dragging on the carpet. By then the carpet has worked loose from the tack strip on at least one wall, and each step makes the wave a little bigger.
Upstairs bedrooms and lofts in Jupiter's two-story homes are where we restretch most often, because furniture gets moved around and those wide rooms ripple across the middle. Many Jupiter communities have contractor rules, so tell us about yours when you book and we'll plan around them. Near the water in Jupiter, humid air makes carpet more likely to relax, so a proper power stretch matters even more.
How we do it
A proper restretch starts by checking why the carpet loosened, whether that's failed tack strip, worn padding or an open seam. Then we power-stretch the carpet back into place, trim the excess and secure the edges. The goal is to get the most use possible out of the carpet you already have.
Jupiter homes and carpet
Jupiter is a large town at the north end of the county, built around the Loxahatchee River and the Jupiter Inlet, where the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse has stood since 1860. It includes the Abacoa community and its spring training stadium, waterfront communities like Admirals Cove, and Harbourside Place on the Intracoastal.
Jupiter has many two-story family homes with carpeted stairs and upstairs bedrooms, plus townhomes in Abacoa and condos near the water. Boating and beach life mean wet feet and sand, and HOAs cover most communities.
Local tip: Many Jupiter communities are gated. Add us to the gate list before your appointment, and let us know about any HOA rules on contractor parking.

Common questions
How long does a restretch take?
It depends on the size of the room and how much furniture needs to be moved. We'll give you an idea when you book.
Is stretching cheaper than replacing carpet?
In most cases, yes. The site's whole approach is "don't replace your carpet, get it repaired instead." If the carpet itself is still in decent shape, restretching is the more economical fix.
