Signs your Boca Raton carpet needs pet damaged carpet repair
We love our pets, but they sure seem to hate carpet. Dogs dig at doorways, cats claw at corners and the edges of stairs, and puppies chew whatever they can reach. Berber and other looped carpets are especially prone to pulled loops and runs from claws.
In Boca Raton's two-story homes, pets often damage the bottom stairs and the upstairs bedroom doorways. In Boca Raton homes near the water, wet paws coming in from the beach or pool add moisture to pet-damaged areas. In Boca Raton condos, cats clawing at bedroom carpet corners is one of the most common repairs.
How we do it
Most pet damage is fixed with a patch: we cut out the chewed or clawed area and replace it with matching carpet, often from a closet. If the pet pulled the carpet loose at a doorway, we restretch and re-secure the edge. On Berber, pulled loops can often be re-looped.
Boca Raton homes and carpet
Boca Raton is the southernmost city in Palm Beach County and its second-largest. Addison Mizner's 1920s Mediterranean Revival style still shapes the city, from the Boca Raton resort to Mizner Park, and the main campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Town Center at Boca Raton mall anchor its west side.
Boca Raton has every kind of home, from oceanfront condos on A1A to golf and country club communities and older ranch houses in neighborhoods like Boca Square. Carpet usually covers bedrooms, stairs and media rooms, and many owners spend part of the year elsewhere.
Local tip: Most Boca Raton country club communities and condo buildings have gate lists and contractor hours. Add us to the gate list and tell us your building's rules when you book, so we can get straight to work.

Common questions
My dog dug up the carpet at the door. Is that fixable?
Usually, yes. If the carpet is pulled off the tack strip but not torn, we can restretch and re-secure it. If it's shredded, we patch it.
Should I wait until my puppy is older?
If the damage is still spreading, it can make sense to wait. If it's causing a trip hazard or unravelling, repair it now.
