Carpet Stretching & Re-Stretching in Boca Raton
From the blocks around Mizner Park to Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, we get calls from Boca Raton homeowners whose carpet has started to ripple, bubble or buckle. The good news is that loose carpet almost never needs replacing. A proper power stretch makes it lie flat and tight again.

Signs your Boca Raton carpet needs carpet stretching
When carpet is installed correctly it's stretched tight and hooked onto tack strip along every wall. Over time it can relax, especially when heavy furniture gets dragged, when padding breaks down, or when the original installer didn't stretch the carpet far enough. The result is the rippling, buckling and wrinkling that keeps coming back.
In Boca Raton condos, carpet is usually stretched over a concrete slab, and units that sit closed for part of the year can see the carpet relax and bubble when humidity changes. Seasonal owners in Boca Raton often come back to find ripples in a closed-up home. Steady AC while you're away helps prevent it. Many Boca Raton communities have contractor rules, so tell us about yours when you book and we'll plan around them.
How we do it
We lift the carpet at the walls, check the tack strip and pad, and replace anything that won't hold. Then the carpet is power-stretched, trimmed and reset at the baseboards. Furniture is moved back carefully so the work stays tight.
Boca Raton homes and carpet
Boca Raton is the southernmost city in Palm Beach County and its second-largest. Addison Mizner's 1920s Mediterranean Revival style still shapes the city, from the Boca Raton resort to Mizner Park, and the main campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Town Center at Boca Raton mall anchor its west side.
Boca Raton has every kind of home, from oceanfront condos on A1A to golf and country club communities and older ranch houses in neighborhoods like Boca Square. Carpet usually covers bedrooms, stairs and media rooms, and many owners spend part of the year elsewhere.
Local tip: Most Boca Raton country club communities and condo buildings have gate lists and contractor hours. Add us to the gate list and tell us your building's rules when you book, so we can get straight to work.

Common questions
Is stretching cheaper than replacing carpet?
In most cases, yes. The site's whole approach is "don't replace your carpet, get it repaired instead." If the carpet itself is still in decent shape, restretching is the more economical fix.
How long does a restretch take?
It depends on the size of the room and how much furniture needs to be moved. We'll give you an idea when you book.
